Flower Essences I

For over 30 years Terry Willard has been working with flower essences in his practice, and has found them very useful when dealing with emotional stress. It has been proven that many of our health concerns are based in stress. With the use of flower Essences we can fine tune the emotions we deal with. Even with the healthy individual, various forms of emotional baggage can slow a person's growth, socially and spiritually. Flower essences tune into the etheric and emotional bodies, by working with the etheric wiring of the body such as the chakra system. Each of us is carrying several 'software' programs in our emotional bodies. By using flower essences, we can clear out bugs and debris found in these programs. In this two day workshop, we will be looking at 44 flower essences, including numerous blended formulas, all of which grow in Alberta. Participants will gain an indepth understanding of Flower Essences and the many lessons the plant kingdoms can teach us. Approved 14 hours Counseling credits. Available through BodyMind Institute only.

We can find a solution and will also be able to deepen our understanding of the dynamics of any concerns. We can utilize constellation for many issues including our workplace, environmental, Nature, health and relationships as well as our family of origin. Constellation work helps us to restore the flow of love and harmony in our life and everything connected to us. Everyone present in the circle will be able to experience the work, receive healing and understanding. This process can heal that which holds us back to walk forward freely. Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine Intro

This course provides an overview of the theory and practices of traditional Ayurvedic medicine, including the Five Element theory (panchabuthas), humoral and structural theories (tridosha & sapla dhatu), constitution (prakriti), daily and seasonal regimens (dinacharya & rutacharya), dietetics, pharmacology (dravyguna), the causes of disease (nidana), diagnostics (pariksha), and the principles of treatment. People everywhere are realizing the importance and benefits of taking personal responsibility for one’s own well-being, making Ayurveda the perfect holistic healing system, which not only helps to make one healthy, but also to be spiritually, emotionally, socially – “AWARE” and “CONNECTED” and be in “BALANCE” with oneself, the world around and the universe itself.

As a new student to the practice of Ayurveda, this course will help to bring awareness about one’s own body and innate constitution, bio-rhythms, nutritional balance, daily and seasonal routines, suitable exercises, and susceptibility to diseases. Students should be aware that the use of Sanskrit language can be overwhelming. We emphasize that understanding the concepts and ideas represented by Ayurveda should be of primary importance, not the language itself.

This course is content heavy, and as such studying is very important to the successful completion of the course. Abstract concepts and ideas represented by Ayurveda may need patience, diligence and efforts to understand. Before embarking on the course, please make a commitment to develop a better understanding of the science of Ayurveda and yourself.
