Foods that are most likely to cause mucus in the system are dairy and flour. Other foods like highly processed carbohydrates and excessive red meat can also contribute to mucus build up.

A mucusless diet consists of no dairy, flour or processed food. You can usually eat the whole grains but not the flours of the grain. This should be adopted strictly for 2 months. After this amount of time, dairy or flour can be introduced into the diet 1-2 times per week.
