Candida (Candida albicans) is a type of yeast that, along with many other microorganisms, exists normally in the body. Many of today's lifestyle factors, though, including antibiotic use, oral contraceptives (the "pill"; hormone replacement therapy) and too many refined foods can lead to an overgrowth of Candida. The program was very effective however had quite reaction Flue etc. Now would like to go on Cand-aide Program. Can you email details of diet? If possible would like quick response as I'm due at my Naturapath in 1 Hr. Thanks again. Hal

I purchased the Cand-Aid kit years ago. It comes with reading materials that specify the diet required while taking these various pills and drops. Regarding the drops, I found them to highly promote regularity and pungent, internal gases (if you know what I mean), so be forewarned. I made the mistake of not following the pill-taking and diet regimens closely enough, and buying the kit ended up being a waste of money, so one must be committed beforehand or the entire exercise will be pointless.

The instructions on the drops are not specific. Do you just take the drops directly into your mouth? The diet clearly states no sweeteners, what about artificial sweeteners like Splenda? Do you have any examples of the recipes in your cookbook. I am very interested. Regards, Valerie

I have high blood pressure since March 2006. I use the smallest dose of Diovan HCT. Is Candida helps me to get out of medication? Is it the right product to take? Please, please give me advice. I am 50 years old. I want to live healthy life. Big respect - Alex

The program itself is actually very simple. It does take some adjustment, but is totally doable. There are moments of panic because the candida will react and make you crave anything and everything that is not on the diet, but if you can get past these moments, you'll notice a huge improvement in your general health, energy, concentration level, moods.... I know, it's a long time to go, but believe me, it's worth it.

I have questions about the BEVC. The amount of Beta Carotene (pro- vitamin A) to be taken 2tabs 2x a day seems like a lot. Can you let me know the safety of this?

I followed the regimen on the box and it worked! I had to stay very close to a bathroom for the first week. I enjoyed not feeling hungry. I postponed my exercise routine for the duration of the cleanse. I have recommended it to friends and family.
